Former Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Danial Akhmetov resigned on January 8, 2007, which in accordance to the Constitution led to the resignation of the Government. The new Government was formed 3 days later on January 11, 2007. Former Deputy Prime Minister Karim Masimov was appointed by the President as a new Prime Minister and most of the Ministers retained their seats in the contemporary Government.

Agencies
Agency is a central executive body, not-included in the Government.
Agency governs corresponding branch (sphere) of state management and conducts inter industry coordination and special executive and licensing functions.
It is founded, re-organized and abolished by the President of the Republic pursuant to the Prime-Minister.
