May 2001, appointed State Secretary of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
2003-2004, Head (Governor) of the Dnepropetrovsk Regional State Administration.
Mar 21, 2007, after the separation of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Communal Services of Ukraine into two ministries: Ministry of Regional Development and Construction and Ministry of Communal Services, Volodymyr Yatsuba was appointed as a Minister of Regional Development and Construction of Ukraine. His appointment was approved by 253 Deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. Prior to this appointment, Volodymyr Yatsuba served as a Secretary of the Regions Development Council.
