1992-1993, Head of Department of the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations of Uzbekistan.
1993-1994, Head of Department of the Institute of Strategic and Interregional Research under the President of Uzbekistan.
1994-1995, Deputy Minister of Foreign Economic Relations of Uzbekistan.
1995-1997, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Economic Relations of Uzbekistan
1997-2002, Minister of Foreign Economic Relations of Uzbekistan.
