Sofya Donets

Before joining Renaissance Capital in July 2019, Sofya spent 12 years at the Central Bank of Russia (CBR). Sofya was involved in analysis and forecasting, and communication regarding monetary policy decisions. In her last year working at the CBR, Sofya was also involved in leading the central bank’s regional branches’ restructuring project, which included regional analysis revisions and a regional outreach programme (for the media, banks and business). Sofya graduated from Moscow State University with a Master of Economics specialising in quantitative methods. Sofya is a CFA holder and has also lectured in macroeconomics.
